Monique Cole believes that real estate is one of the best investments you can make and she practices what she preaches. With partners, Monique owns and personally manages four commercial properties along the Front Range from Loveland to Denver. She also enjoys helping clients find a house that will become their dream home, as well as a great forced savings plan. Monique has lived in Boulder since 1992, with a 4-year hiatus on the North Shore of Oahu, where she was raised. It was during that time in Hawaii that she got her start in real estate, though you might say it was in her blood -- her parents have been investing in real estate since 1969. |
| In Hawaii, she worked full-time as a real estate asset manager, helping clients buy, manage, sell and reinvest in properties on Oahu. The Boulder lifestyle lured Monique back to Colorado in 2005. Monique's previous career as a writer and editor contributes to her marketing expertise. With a BA degree from UCLA, she served as senior editor of Rocky Mountain Sports Magazine in the early '90s. She was one of the founding editors of Trail Runner Magazine and still writes occasional freelance articles on business and travel for Colorado and national publications. In her free time, Monique spends time outdoors with her husband Phil Mislinski (an engineer at Ball Aerospace, and outdoor photographer), their two daughters, Sammy (9) and Kat (7), and their Aussie cattle dog Rosie. She enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, sailing, biking, hiking and volunteering at her daughters; school, Flatirons Elementary. The Mislinski-Cole family lives on University Hill in a stone, Tudor style home built in 1929. Monique Cole joined the team at Goodacre & Company, one of Boulder’s best boutique real estate brokerages, in January of 2007. Feel free
