Assisted in the successful launch of Trail Runner, the first
national full-color magazine dedicated to the sport of off-road
running. Along with just one other editorial staff member, develop
editorial calendar, assign stories, research and write articles,
perform editing process from first edit to final proofing.

Write articles on outdoor sports, adventure travel and human
interest topics for magazines including Sports Illustrated for
Women, Outside and Islands. Co-author of "The Trail Runner's
Guide to Colorado: Fifty Great Runs" (Fulcrum Publishing,
1999).
Sales & Marketing Assistant: Hard Corps Sports, Boulder, Colorado (1995-January
1997)
Managed the sponsorship and marketing programs for this ski and
snowboard clothing manufacturer. Coordinated trade shows and
photo shoots and wrote copy for press releases, catalogs and
hang tags.
Snowboard Instructor: Eldora Mountain Resort, Colorado (Winters
1994-1996)
Instructed snowboarding to adults and children on a part-time
basis.
